Meet Kelly
Hey y’all! I am Kelly Kay & am the owner of both, Luxe&Lavish Salon and Luxie Boutique. My husband Brandon and I, have officially been together longer than we haven’t. We just celebrated 10 years of marriage, and over 15 years together. I’m so thankful for his support, in all my wild adventures! Together we have three incredible children, Bentlee- age 9, Austyn Kennedy- age 8 & Graysyn (G)- 16 months.
I opened my full service salon almost immediately after graduating Cosmetology school, in 2017. I started out in my home and quickly outgrew the one room operation. Deciding that it was time to expand, I purchased the building at 131 West Lincoln street in Augusta. With the new location, I also wanted a new addition! Creating excitement was especially important, while we were in the middle of the Covid pandemic. This is when Luxie Boutique was born. It had always seemed like an unattainable goal, but soon became a reality! It took off bigger and faster, than I could have ever anticipated! Luxie Boutique is truly, a special blessing to me. Celebrating women of all sizes, we carry XSmall- 3X. Setting Luxie Boutique apart from others, was key to survival. Starting with making our own Graphic T-shirts, only carrying the best brands, and making sure that we only had realistic sizes and exceptional quality.
I couldn’t be more proud and so incredibly happy we made the decision to creat Luxie Boutique, cheers to three years!
Meet Our Tribe
With the incredible expansion, I was also able to bring in some amazing talent! First was Head of Operations/Frontend Manager - Chris; however y’all may know her as “mom.” Chris is my mom, but seems to be that role for everyone who comes in. She has an incredible ability to make everyone feel at home, and connects with each person in such a beautiful way. Chris practically runs all aspects of the daily operations. Managing everything from her Tanning Salon- Luxie Tanning; to ordering, receiving & processing all new merchandise. She also is our front house manager as well. Truly, nothing goes on in my business, without Chris helping organize and plan it!
My second pivotal piece of the puzzle, is Seaann. Not only is she my Lead consultant at Luxie Boutique; she is also Master Makeup Artist, specializing in Air Brush Bridal Makeup, Lash Extensions & Lash Lift and Tints. Seaann’s incredible attention to detail, makes her the perfect fit for both customers at Luxie Boutique, as well as Luxe&Lavish Salon! Seaann is incredible at photography as well, especially with our models. Her degree from UWEC, has helped her run the website for Luxie Boutique, organize all photo shoots, and style all of our models.
These two incredible women are the reason, we are a true success. Cheers to many, many more years of Luxe&Lavish Salon and Luxie Boutique!

Hey guys! My name is Seaann N. Walker! I have been married to my husband Tanner for 2 years *Fun Fact* we were married on a pirate ship in Mexico during the Covid pandemic! We are the parents of Vin Weasel (Vinny) the ferret and Andi Man the cat. My husband and I love the outdoors, nature, and traveling especially to Mexico, where my family has had a home since I was little. Some of my favorite things to do include attending concerts and festivals, researching fashion trends, and practicing extravagant makeup looks.
I’m lead Makeup Artist at Luxe&Lavish Salon. Specializing in Air Brush Bridal Makeup, I also provide services such as: Lash Extensions, Lash Lift and Tints, and Personal Shopping Events. I look forward to seeing you in both Luxie Boutique and Luxe&Lavish Salon!
Chris
Hello, my name is Chris Beenken. I have been married to my husband Nolan for 32 years, spending the last 27 years living here in Augusta. I am mom to Kelly and Jordan and grandma to Bentlee, Austyn-Kennedy and Graysyn. In 2016 I decided to leave my job and take care of my grandchildren so Kelly could go to Cosmetology school. When Kelly wanted to open a salon/boutique outside of her home I was completely on board. When I was younger I wanted to own a woman’s clothing store so Kelly’s vision kind of fulfilled my dream. After opening Luxie Boutique we realized that Augusta needed a therapeutic tanning bed so Luxie Tanning was born. I absolutely love doing the displays in the store and helping each costumer find the perfect sweater or jeans. In addition to Luxie Tanning, I also own Finishing Touches Paparazzi by Kennedy George featuring Paparazzi Accessories that we have in the salon, allowing us to give our customers the final piece to their perfect outfit! In May 2022 my job description changed Again with the birth of my granddaughter Graysyn. Most days you can find me in the back room nursery snuggling with her in between customers which has become my favorite part of the day. In my spare time I am the director of The Community Cupboard food pantry in Augusta, The Augusta Lions and currently The Augusta Christmas Project.
