With our incredible expansion, I’ve been lucky to bring in some truly amazing talent! First up is our Head of Operations and Frontend Manager—Chris. But y’all might know her better as “Mom.” Chris isn’t just my mom; she’s the heart of our team and the mom to everyone who walks through our doors. She has a way of making everyone feel at home, connecting with people in such a warm and genuine way. Chris practically runs our daily operations, from managing her very own Tanning Salon—Luxie Tanning—to handling ordering, receiving, and processing all of our new merchandise. On top of all that, she’s also our front-house manager, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Truly, nothing happens in my business without Chris helping organize and plan it!

Another key part of our success is Seaann. Not only is she our Lead Consultant at Luxie Boutique, but she’s also a Master Makeup Artist specializing in Airbrush Bridal Makeup, Lash Extensions, and Lash Lift and Tints. Her incredible attention to detail makes her an invaluable asset—whether she’s helping customers at Luxie Boutique or working her magic at Luxe&Lavish Salon. On top of that, she has a talent for photography, especially when working with our models. With her degree from UWEC, Seaann manages our website, organizes all of our photo shoots, and styles our models to perfection.

What began as a dream and a single salon chair has grown into three thriving businesses rooted in passion, creativity, and heart.

I opened Luxe&Lavish Salon in 2017, shortly after graduating from cosmetology school, with a vision that went beyond hair and beauty services. My goal was to create a space where women felt truly seen, confident, and cared for—a place built on connection, trust, and self-love.

From those early days working out of my home to expanding into our location at 131 West Lincoln Street in Augusta, the journey has been one of faith, growth, and incredible community support. Luxe&Lavish has grown into a full-service salon offering expert hair, makeup, facials, lashes, and bridal beauty. More than a salon, it has become a second home for our clients and artists—where confidence is built and friendships are formed.

In 2020, during one of the most uncertain seasons for small businesses, I felt called to take another leap of faith. That leap became Luxie Boutique What started as a small extension of the salon quickly grew into a space women truly connected with. Luxie Boutique is designed for women of all shapes and sizes to find styles that make them feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves.

As our community continued to grow, so did our vision. That led to the creation of Luxie Tanning —a luxury tanning experience focused on confidence, self-care, and glowing safely. Luxie Tanning was created to help our clients feel their best year-round, complementing the beauty and style experiences we already offered.

Today, Luxe&Lavish Salon, Luxie Boutique, and Luxie Tanning stand side-by-side as a reflection of resilience, hard work, and the power of women supporting women.

Outside of business, I’m a wife and a mom. My husband, Brandon, and our three children—Bentlee, Austyn Kennedy, and Graysyn “Gigi”—are my greatest inspiration and the heart behind everything I do. They remind me daily that success isn’t just about what we build, but about the love, values, and community we create along the way.
